How to play

Use ranks nine through ace; four players form two partnerships.
The turned-up card offers trump. The dealer must accept if everyone else passes at this introductory table.
The trump jack is highest; the other jack of the same colour is second highest and also belongs to trump. Follow suit when possible.
Makers score one point for three or four tricks, two for all five. If they fail, defenders score two. First to 10 wins.
