Lockup rules

Win tricks, but clubs make the winner sit out.

How to play

  1. Four players use all 52 cards with aces high and no trump.
  2. The leader cannot lead clubs. Other players normally follow suit.
  3. A jack, queen or king already in the trick allows a player to play a club instead. Otherwise discard freely only when void in the led suit.
  4. Highest card in the led suit wins one point. Clubs in the trick make the winner skip that many tricks. First to 20 wins.
