Spades rules
Bid tricks with your partner; spades are always trump.
How to play
- Four players receive 13 cards each. Opposite seats are partners.
- Bid your expected trick count, including nil where offered.
- Follow suit. Spades are trump and cannot be led until broken unless only spades remain.
- Making the partnership bid scores 10 per bid trick plus overtricks. Missing it loses 10 per bid trick; bags and nil have their own penalties.
